The research carried out by Fab Lab MVD had the purpose of representing the building of the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism from the exploration of digital tools, focusing on the study of its façade.

As a first approach to the building, the digital model was made based on 3D scanning from photographs, with its subsequent realization at a 1:200 scale using digital fabrication tools, more specifically a CNC router. The digital fabrication prototype was an assembling model, containing different parts of the façade, presented in a box with the assembly instructions.

Later in 2014, this project had continuity through a series of mode is made by Fab Lab MVD through laser cutting and 3D printing. And also as an institutional gift in 2015.
